Another step

I went to the Canyon View Ogden Clinic this morning, was pleasantly received, and given the "OK" to place my fliers in the waiting room. I also talked to Dr. Jon Ahlstrom (ob/gyn) and he's happy to place my fliers in his rooms and take some to the other clinic in Roy. How NICE! :o)

I'm hoping for a good turn out. The group is simply for support of mommies...we need it! I'm not teaching a "class" with this, just a nice forum for us to come together to help one another with the turmoil of motherhood, the confusing art of blending womanhood, self, motherhood, and wife/partner, and share our successes as well as our troubles with remembering our first name, sitting on the toilet without a crowd, moving through trauma, embracing new life--that of our children, that of ourselves...

My New Logo

I've finally come up with a new Logo that I like for my new business name. I have been trying to figure something out for ever but it hasn't been until I changed my name that the logo came to me. I spent time on the computer finding the right font and a few minutes doodling with my daughter to come up with this:

A New Beginning with Regina

It's been a while since I've done much of anything in the birth community due to study and the birth of our youngest baby. Now, however, I'm feeling ready to begin again...thus the new name.

I have set up two support groups: New Mothers Group in Roy, New Mothers Group in Ogden.

In Ogden we'll be meeting at 10:30am on the 2nd & 4th Wednesdays of the month beginning September 12, 2007 downstairs in the "CLASSROOM" inside the Main branch of the Weber County Library located at 2464 Jefferson Ave.

In Roy we'll be meeting at 10:30am on the 2nd & 4th Saturdays of the month beginning September 8, 2007 in the "AUDITORIUM" inside the Southwest Branch of the Weber County Library located at 1950 W 4800 S.

It's FREE, of course, and there will be light refreshments.

New Mothers Group

We have a space for the New Mothers Group at the Weber County Library! We'll be meeting in "the Classroom" downstairs on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 10:30am for 1-2hrs as needed beginning September 12, 2007.
